Abstract

The international students enrolled in higher education institutions bring to Romanian universities a new challenge: to design and implement solutions to manage possible exotic infectious disease outbreaks. This paper presents a first step in this direction, analysing the areas of origin of the international students enrolled at the Ovidius University of Constanta and the diseases to which they may have been exposed prior to arrival.
