Abstract

The life of unauthorized migrants is characterized by the insecurity inherent to their administrative situation. The various risks in everyday life - from arrest to expulsion - must be estimated at best in order to prevent them. Through the experience of an encounter at the Prefecture, this article shows the difficulties to evaluate the risk in an environment where everything can potentially become threatening. © Presses Universitaires de France.
