Abstract
Sociology of migration in Germany has often contributed to the reproduction of separating categorizations concerning the migrants and the host society. Some approaches to dissolve these coarse categories are taken up in the article: 1.) A precision of the heterogeneous conditions of partecipation in the Immigration context as well as a sociological knowledge-orientated perspective for the analysis of typical strategies of social acting by migrant groups. 2.) An analysis of the social construction of ethnical categories. These theoretical reflections are 3.) portrayed exemplary on the basis of an analysis of the Italian migration to Germany.
