Abstract
Aim of investigation. The object of this research was to study the spread of Helicobacter Pylori infection among migrants - the population compelled to leave the places of permanent residence because of the aggression of the Armenian military forces. Material & methods. A special questionnaire was used and in case of presence of symptoms a complex clinical, laboratory and instrumental examination was made the observation embraced 250 people (25 men and women in each age group). 5 age groups were selected (15-24; 29-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55-64). The cohort method was employed for the observation and each unit of the observation was examined twice with an interval of 1 year. Results. It is found that the rate of the spread of the Helicobacter Pylori infection among migrants varies in the range from 43,0 to 82,8% and depends on the age: minimum rate was observed at the age of 15-24 (43,0-63,0%) and maximum one at the age of 55-64 (65,2-82,8%). A direct statistically reliable and strongly explicit correlational dependence (Spirman correlation coefficient was 1,0) between the age of the examined patients and the rate of detection of the Helicobacter Pylori infection is observed. It is shown that men and women mainly have similar risk of being infected and no marked difference, between them in the rate of detection of the Helicobacter Pylori infection was revealed at any age. For the first time the disease incidence of the migrants is determined (cases revealed for the first time over a calendar year) which was 5,2±2,4%. The complex approach to prophylaxis of the Helicobacter Pylori (HP) infections is recommended.
