Abstract

Migration is a stressful life event with consequences on biographically later phases when a person realises that former efforts had not the wanted success. But, a lot of studies over a period of at least 20 years give evidence that the medical system has its special impact on reinforcing chronically psychic and psychosomatic diseases. Physicians are to learn talking about the meaning of life events and about existential questions even if patients do present primarily physical complaints.
