Abstract

Objective: to know through the survey COOP/WONCA Charts, aspects of health in the immigrant population. Hold a practical workshop with immigrant women on healthy ways of life. Design: Qualitative descriptive study on the quality of life in immigrants. Group intervention to improve cardiovascular risk factors. Location: Llagostera clinic (Girona). Participants: Patients of immigrant origin assisted in the primary care consultation. Intervention: The COOP/WONCA vignettes will be applied in the form of a questionnaire, to measure the quality of life of the immigrant group. Next, a workshop will be held with a group of women of immigrant origin to address issues of healthy lifestyle habits. Main measurements: Variables on quality of life according to the cartoons COOP. Variables of the group workshop according to the protocol of preventive action (PAPPS), stressors, support network and expectation of results. Results: The African population of the study presents better items in physical exercise and pain while the population of the countries of Eastern Europe and Central and South America presents a better social interaction. The feeling of global quality of life is intermediate. Conclusion: It can be deduced that the quality of life influences the perception of patients’ health. Group health workshops can improve the expectation of change and education for health. © 2019
