Abstract
From the second post-war period to the present day, the Scalabrinian Congregation has undergone profound transformations, but it has always remained faithful to the intuitions of the founder who wanted a missionary action equally spiritual and social. In this contribution the author presents, in broad terms, the work aimed at impacting migration policies carried out by the Scalabrinians as an integral part of their ministry among migrants and refugees from 1945 until today. In particular, the author highlights the research and training activities, advocacy work and constitution of operational networks and participation in the formulation of migration policies promoted by the Missionaries of San Charles in the last 70 years in different regions of the world. © 2019, Fondazione Centro Studi Emigrazione.
