Abstract
Migrant workers have become an integral part of Kerala‘s labour force. More and more migrants have started to engage themselves in jobs that was considered as suitable and ‘possible’ only by domicile workers of that state. Primarily from the Central and North Eastern states, they are forced to migrate to other states due to poor economic status back their homes. One such industry that has paved way for migrant workers in Kerala is the hotel and restaurants business. In such a scenario it‘s a matter of concern as to how their life balances and life pressures take up on them. The present study focuses on the quality of work life of migrant workers in hotels and restaurants among 200 respondents across 3 districts. © 2019, Editorial office of Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research.
