Abstract
The article presents the analysis of the problems of globalization and integration, as well as the individualization of the person who obtained the status of economic migrant in Western Europe and Russia. The sociocultural and economic adaptation of migrants, the axiological transformations in their consciousness, are analyzed through the prism of the language. The causes of the polarization of society according to the “own-strangers” principle are explained, the ways to unite people of different ethnic origins are mentioned. In the article the results of the survey among the university youth are exposed, the degree of their tolerance towards the migrants is determined, the set of initiatives of their academic adaptation is presented. The authors proved that the ethnopsychological nuances of communication are determined by the influence of society on acculturation as a form of socialization and model of the psychologically comfortable integration of the individual into a different culture. © 2019, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
