Abstract

This article deals with the results of a cross-country comparative sociological study. It is noted that there is a statistically significant direct correlation between the attitude of respondents to migrants and the level of their education in all European countries included in the study, except Russia, the Russians perceive migrants rather negatively. It concludes that the contemporary Russian high school fails to implant the sociocultural behavioral patterns that contribute to shaping a tolerant attitude towards migrants. © 2019.
