Abstract
The epistolary relationships of a person make it possible to do a reading of their relational networks through the exchange and the content of the letters. This work is based on an analysis of a total of 239 letters exchanged between Juan Manuel de Rosas and three correspondents -Josefa Gomez (78 letters), Jose Maria Roxas y Patron (27 letters), and Justo Jose de Urquiza (13 letters)- between April 1, 1852 and December 13, 1876. The period corresponds to the exile of Juan Manuel de Rosas -governor of the province of Buenos Aires between 1829 and 1832 and 1835 and 1852 -, in Southampton (England), until his death in 1877.
