Factor affecting children ever born to ever married woman in the refugee camps in Nablus governorate (Article)

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the factors that influence the number of children ever-born to women in the refugee camps at the Governorate of Nablus. A field survey was conducted through a stratified random sample during the second week of February 2008. The study came to the conclusion that the current age of the woman, the woman age at the first marriage, the number of deceased children, the number of children desired by woman and the age of the husband at the first marriage are the most important factors that influence the number of children ever-born in the area of the study.
