Abstract
Health care providers working with immigrant and refugee populations need to find and access information related to patient care and to direct patients to culturally and linguistically appropriate health information. This article shows how to find this type of information using online databases, library catalogs, and the Internet. Special emphasis is placed on conducting subject searches in online databases such as PubMed and the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. Also provided is an appendix listing Web sites on immigrant and refugee health. © 2007, Sage Publications. All rights reserved.
