Abstract

The nationwide database "Health Promotion for the Socially Disadvantaged" (http:// www.gesundheitliche-chancengleichheit. de), set up by Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA), includes about 2,700 projects, and amongst other activities also interventions for migrants living under socially disadvantaged circumstances. Based on qualitative interviews with the co-ordinators of some selected interventions, this contribution presents basic strategies and methods for reaching the target group.
