Social-psychological adaptation of adolescents to their parents' labor migration (Article)

Abstract

New practical data connected to the specificity of adaptation of adolescents to their parents' labor migration and of their socialization are presented. The tendency of destructive changes in the relationship between parents and children was found. The sources of adolescents' emotional dissatisfaction due to forced transformation of family way of life are analyzed. The comparative data on emotional well-being, satisfaction by different sides of life, coping styles of teenagers from families of labor migrants and teenagers, whose parents work domiciliarily are presented.
