Abstract

Forced labor is prohibited both on moral grounds and by national and international legislation. Could the work done by certain patients within the framework of a therapeutic and/or social reinsertion protocol be considered as forced labor? We discuss in this article the jurisprudence on this issue and discuss pertinent elements. © Masson, 2006.
