The development of identity of children of post-soviet emigrants in USA (Article)

Abstract

The study is directed to the search and approbation of multi-level conception of subject identity. The object of qualitative analyzes is the scenarios of socialization of children of post-Soviet emigrants in USA. Culturological conception of "scenario" filled by psychological content. It fixed identity of interaction participants, which extremely pronounced in modality of emotional experience of the self. Identity, in turn, defined perception and evaluation of events and people. The inevitable collision of children socialization scenarios, typical for American and Russian society, is the cause for crisis of identity. The original method "The model of family" is proposed for comparison of culture-specific family models.
