Abstract

In September 2003 a conference was held in Manchester which aimed to highlight specific issues in providing psychological services for refugee and asylum seeker communities. This paper describes the process of organising the conference, emphasising key clinical, professional and political themes which emerged. © The British Psychological Society 2005.
