Abstract

Experts suggest that unfortunate circumstance and bad policy have diminished the dominant global status and role of North America in matters relational to important international affairs and issues faced in Third World countries. Unfortunate circumstance and bad policy have combined to diminish the dominant status of the country, which fails to strongly address the challenges faced by people in the Third World countries and other regions. The country has failed to mobilize in fielding a military force of one million despite having a population of 310 million. The standard of living has declined or flattened, causing many observers to comment that the standard of living of the present generation will be lower than the earlier generation for the first time in the history of the country.
