This work is based on descriptive clinical cases of women with children who are asylum seekers in France. It attempts to highlight current and future mental health issues for the children accompanying mothers who have been traumatised by major events (death threats, attempted murder, rape, etc.). Can the dire situation of unbridled violence that forced migration (considered here to be the sole issue ensuring survival and not as an instance of realisation of desire) be talked about and give rise to a "positive transmission", opening out to a form of release and overcoming the mere logic of survival? © 2013 ERES.
