Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the level of labor absorption by industrial sector of five Asian countries and to analyze the impact of labor absorption on the intersectoral mobility of labor. The countries considered are the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. (SUMMARY IN ENG)
