Abstract

Reports the demographic characteristics and labor force participation of undocumented and documented Mexican women immigrants in Los Angeles county. The women were interviewed in their homes, churches, community centers, and places of work; not in detention centers where other previous studies of illegal migrants were conducted. -Authors
