Abstract

The interaction of war, flight, relocation, and survivor stress are examined in a case study of a Hmong refugee. The need for culturally appropriate treatments for non‐Western clients is highlighted, and a possible link is suggested between the circumstances of the case study and sudden death syndrome. 1983 American Orthopsychiatric Association
