Abstract

During the 10 years 1970-9 36 patients of Asian extraction with established diabetes mellitus presented with active infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis. When compared with a control group there was a significant increase in cavitatory and sputum positive disease suggesting a more severe form of tuberculous infection. © 1983.
