Abstract

Caries and periodontal disease data from 205 Indochinese refugee 12-to-19-year-olds were obtained and were analyzed on the basis of sex, ethnic group, and access to dental care. A mean DMF score of 6.2 and a mean P.I. score of 1.2 were recorded for the total sample. Greater caries experience was noted in females and in the Vietnamese teenagers. © 1982, SAGE Publications.
