Abstract

In connection with 6 observations of severe psychotic decompensation in African or Asiatic subjects, the authors point out the rareness of this disturbance, discuss its clinical symptoms which are frequently atypical and review certain etiologic elements which are useful for understanding such disturbances. Therapeutic features which are more difficult to resolve, such as repatriation and primary and secondary prevention are also discussed.
