Abstract

The work considers the relationship between the exiled members of the national liberation movement in Poland and the Caucasus and female residents of the Vyatka Province. The authors reveal the attitudes of various categories of Polish and Caucasian exiles toward marriage with women of the Vyatka Province, and analyze the main reasons for marriage, as well as the attitudes of the administrative and police bodies that supervised the exiles towards such marriages.
