Abstract
Seven years after the first appearance of a special issue on psychotherapy and migration, the present issue focuses on new challenges concerning the refugee situation in Germany. Following the extensive increase of refugees and asylum applicants with respect to traumatic experiences in the country of origin or on the escape routes, there is a strong need for a contemporary treatment. This special issue focuses on special demands for (psychotherapeutic) treatment and highlights current and innovative concepts. © 2017 Hogrefe.
