Abstract
Charity towards migrants is expressed only with the action of the Christian who gives hope for themselves and for others. In order to achieve benefit of the community, human action necessarily manifests itself with works, as recalled by Pope Benedict XVI in his encyclical Spe Salvi, pointing certain rules that make a symbolic structure: 1) The freedom of the people; 2) The reasons and the intention to realize the structure; 3) The ongoing reform of the structures; 4) The value and the priority of love; 5) The required of the other responsibility; 6) The risk of prejudice that undermines the effort to help people in need. In order to achieve his aim the work must be: a) a sign, as an institutional value, an identity; b) a heart, which is the ability to love and to meet God; c) it must be called to educate; d) a workshop to experience genuine aspects of the faith; e) an act of charity. Therefore as a church of hope that not only cares to have charitable works, still valid today, and that have a symbolic value for faith, hope and charity of the individual faithful and the community. As it is today, the evangelization focus shifts from identity model to that of the relationship, as well as this last experience should deal with this specific work.
