Abstract
This article reviews the risk and protective factors and symptom presentation of depression in Latino and immigrant refugee children and adolescents. The significance of culture, linguistics, and community in the emergence of depression in Latino and immigrant refugee children and adolescents and their families is explored. The article provides practical implications for diagnosis and treatment of depression in this special population of youth. © 2019 Elsevier Inc.
