Abstract

The domestic refugee screening is a valuable tool to link newly arrived refugees to the US health care system and can assist in providing a continuum of care from overseas to arrival. Beyond initial refugee screening, accessing general medical, dental, and mental health services can be significantly challenging. ©2019 by the North Carolina Institute of Medicine and The Duke Endowment.
