Abstract
The purpose of research was to establish the distinctions in character of arterial hypertension (AH) epidemiology among the working-age female population of Baku city and working-age female population of forced migrants in Sumgait town. It was applied strictly standardized methods of investigation and criteria of their estimation recommended by WHO. It was determined that prevalence of AH statistically for certain didn't differ among working-age female population in Baku and the forced migrants in Sumgait (36,38% and 35,4% accordingly). AH was revealed among the forced migrants-women, for the first time in 10,0% cases. Among of patients who knew about the presence of AH, 97,6% of women took hypotensive therapy. The hypotensive therapy was adequate only in 26,2% when arterial pressure was <140/90 mm Hg against a background of the treatment. The treatment had inadequate character in the rest of the cases. 2,4% of hypertensive patients didn't take hypotensive therapy knowing about the presence of AH. Thus, it was made a conclusion about the unfavorable state of the epidemiologic situation concerning AH among forced migrants of working-age female population living in Sumgait.
