The selenium status of native population and immigrants in Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous region (Article)

Abstract

The results of the selenium status of native population and immigrants living in the North-West of Russia are presented. Hair selenium concentration was determined by means of ICP-AES method. Decreased levels of selenium status for Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous region's inhabitants were established (adults and children).
