Confronting sex trafficking: Lessons from history (Article)

Abstract

Sex trafficking, the trafficking of women and children for the purposes of sexual exploitation, is recognized today as a worldwide problem, affecting hundreds of thousands each year. It is not, however, a new phenomenon. This paper will discuss the lessons raised by the ational Vigilance Association's response to this problem.
