Abstract

This article reviews the information developments experienced by the Refugee Studies Centre Library over the past ten years. It addresses the challenges associated with the boom in electronic information and how these have been harnessed to complement the still important and unique physical collections held by the Library. It highlights the creation of the RSC's Digital Library and the Forced Migration Online portal. These have played an important role in the navigation of the ever changing electronic landscape faced by the field of refugee and forced migration studies. Elisa Mason's research guide for resources on the web and article on internet-based current awareness services have been used to highlight key access points to e-resources for the subject area. © 2008 SAGE Publications.
