Abstract

In 2016, thousands of young migrants were stranded in Calais, France, in the "Jungle" refugee camp. This paper aims to provide an overview of the British Red Cross's response and of how the organization engaged in numerous activities to secure their safety, culminating in a transfer of children to the United Kingdom. © 2018 icrc.
