Abstract
This exploratory study sampled 136 students to determine the general knowledge of social work students, graduates (MSW) and undergraduates (BSW), which in the study are classified as junior social work majors and senior social work majors, on human trafficking. The study revealed no differences in human trafficking knowledge between BSW and MSW students. Social work students in this study are knowledgeable about the impact of human trafficking on social work practice, the connection between trafficking and prostitution and the factors that make an act a trafficking case. There is a need for social work students to be aware of the connection between trafficking and smuggling, poverty, child labor and, the growing trend of human trafficking. © Common Ground, John Conahan, Eric Kyere, All Rights Reserved.
