Abstract
The article deals with current issues of studying the nature of a complex, multifaced phenomenon, criminological measuring of its quantitative and qualitative parameters, elaboration of the most optimal legislative formulas (disposition of criminal law on the definition of the "human trafficking" concept). Attention is drawn to the fact that there are corresponding basic laws in the national legal system for similar complex socio-legal phenomena (organized crime, terrorism, drug addiction, corruption). © 2015 Canadian Center of Science and Education.
