Abstract
The paper presents key concepts as well as some characteristics of human trafficking. In particular, it describes the characteristics of this phenomenon's conditions, the contemporary tendencies in its dynamics, the types of such activities and the legislative basis for fighting it. The author also considers the correlation between human trafficking and the «globally Americanized» criminality as well as the connection of the latter with the «slag» criminality and analyzes the key reasons for human trafficking.
