Abstract
This study is a qualitative study that aims to study the life experiences of the women who are married to Korean men and moved to Korea and in the process of getting adjusted to the Korean culture. This study used in-depth face-to-face interviews and participant observation as ethnography research methods and collected the data from 8 married immigrant women by means of the snow ball method. Data was divided into 6 domains, 18 categories, and 30 subcategories by theme. The themes were: 'Stuffiness', 'Conflict', 'Worry', 'Support', 'Desire', and 'Korean Culture'. Marriage immigrant women showed various desires in the process of adjusting to the Korean culture and therefore, nursing intervention programs need to be developed for their cultural adaptation, health, and quality of life. © 2014 International Information Institute.
