Abstract
Specific difficulties met by teenagers born to North African immigrants to France and the risk of social exclusion for these young people are discussed. An analysis of the search for identity engaged in by these teenagers highlights the migration-related changes that occur in these families, including the reorganization of parent-child relationships.
