Abstract
This article raises some of the problems contained within the notion of international feminism. It asks whether claims of international or global (or simply European) sisterhood do not hide an inability to deal with women's relation to specific national cultural contexts, and it discusses woman as exile, nomad, and migrant both literally and metaphorically. © 1992.
