Abstract

We could make an exhaustive evaluation of a child's nutritional state by means of a study of the child's nutritional habits and his respective anthropometric values. Unforyunately, the world is divided into developed and undevoloped countries and 5/4 of the infant population are going hungry. Through the nutritional study we can find out quantifiying nutrients of the infant's menu and the anthropometric valuation, we can obtain an objective idea of the child's nutritional state. The authors of this work have had the opportunity to move to a deserted zone, which lives on humanitarian help, and it has been possible to make a comparative valuation between schoolboys of this zone and school boys of a developed country.
