Abstract

Frequently commented, the asylum seeking proceedings are nevertheless often ignored by public opinion. It appears useful to explain its main aspects for the health professional staff to be able to understand the proper difficulties met by asylum seekers. Moreover, the medical certificate is legally a keypiece in the appreciation of the refugee requirement, and must be studied by the judge. In practice, its effect is often decisive. © 2017 Elsevier Masson SAS
