Abstract

Includes over 200 descriptions of web sites established by United Nations agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, government divisions, univeristy and research centres, libraries, think tanks, and private individuals. Entries are organized under one of the following categories: Migration, Asylum and Refugees; Human Rights; Emergency and Humanitarian Assistance; Conflict Resolution and Early Warning; International Relations and Area Studies; International Law; and Sustainable Development. Each entry includes the site's name and Universal Resource Locator (URL), or World Wide Web address; basic contact information; index terms from the International Thesaurus of Refugee Terminology; a description of the site and/or sponsoring organization's objective; and a brief review of features and resources. The name and subject indexes which follow the bibliography can be used to locate particular entries.
