Abstract

This study examined whether loneliness predicts health perceptions, i.e., emotional and physical health, in a sample of 174 older Korean immigrants living in a metropolitan area. Scores on the revised UCLA Loneliness Scale predicted scores on the Lire Satisfaction Index-Z and perceived physical health in the older Koreans, but not scores on the Sympton Pattern Scale.
